First Snow on the Fells captures the quiet moment in early autumn when the first snow settles on the fells of Finnish Lapland, while the land below is still dark and bare. Above the white tops, a ribbon of northern lights unfolds across a deep blue, star-filled sky.

The illustration was inspired by the fells of Levi and Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park, where I spent six winters watching the seasons turn. Snow on the tunturi tops is the first sign that the long arctic winter is coming, and on clear nights the aurora borealis often arrives with it.

Part of the Into the Nordic Wilderness collection.

Metal Plate

Acrylic glass with elegant mounting

An art block is crystal clear, light and unbreakable. It can be placed anywhere easily and stably.

The illustration is behind 2.5 cm thick crystal clear acrylic glass, which enhances the color brilliance, contrast and depth.

This medium creates a stunning 3D effect. The art block does not require any mounting materials.

Place it on your desk, shelf or any other flat surface. They look great when placed freely in the room!

Our Art blocks come with:

3D Depth Effect
25 mm clear acrylic
Vibrant colours
Freestanding Art Object

This carrier is strong and heat-resistant!

The illustration is printed on high-quality photo paper and mounted on a 3 mm aluminium composite plate: two solid aluminium sheets with a polyethylene core, for extra strength. A glossy protective laminate finishes the surface.

An invisible mounting system holds the plate about a centimetre from the wall, so it seems to float and gains a subtle sense of depth.

The Metal Plate is:

Floating with invisible mounting system
glossy finish
Vibrant Colours

Opt for a luxurious look with glass and silver mounting pins.

The illustration is printed onto a 5 mm thick acrylic glass, with a white backing that ensures intense colour vibrancy.

A very stylish hanging system with 4 or 6 mounting pins is provided, creating a depth effect and distance from the wall, which is very elegant.
